Is the government watching over you?

What do the three red() ticks on WhatsApp mean? Is the government watching over you?

WhatsAppA viral message on WhatsApp claims that the government can now read your WhatsApp messages.

WhatsApp has gone to court against the government over the new digital rules
Regarding the new digital rules, WhatsApp says that it is like tracing a
message. This will violate users' privacy. The government has also responded
immediately.
In all of this, one message is going viral. The message, which is going
viral on WhatsApp, claims that the government can now read your WhatsApp
 message

WhatsApp has a feature that will show two blue ticks if the receiver reads
the message. Also, it is being said that if the government reads your
message, a third blue tick will also come.

The fake message, which is going viral, also says that if the government
takes action on your message to send WhatsApp messages, two red ticks will
appear in front of the message.
Not only that, it is also claimed that if there are three red ticks on your message,
it means that the matter has reached the court. You will be sent a notice
by the court for sending the wrong message.
Meanwhile, this is a fake message. There is no truth in the claims of this
message. No red or three blue ticks from the government will come on
WhatsApp. No third party can read WhatsApp messages.
This means the government cannot read your message. All WhatsApp messages
are end-to-end encrypted. A similar message went viral last year.
Such messages create fear in the minds of ordinary WhatsApp users.
In such a case, the sender of such message should be reported. To do this,
open the chat or group of the person who sent you fake messages like this.
Then go to Profile Information. Scrolling to the bottom here, you will see
the option of Report contact or Report group. Report by tapping on it.
